I don’t understand why people congratulate students on becoming Greek. It’s not that hard. If your parents have a reasonable amount of money and you’ve got a great fake smile, you’re in. It’s like congratulating someone on being as artificial as they can possibly get. Sorry, but I’m not sorry. I don’t need to pay 4000 a semester for friends or to have a good time.
I’m ready for my classes to begin. All this bullshit welcome week stuff is getting annoying. I’m ready to get studying so I’m not staring at somebody trying to tell me how great Rhodes is. Or, I’d love to just go home. I want my room, my mommy, my boyfriend, my dog, my cat, and the familiarity of home.
